The Uganda Association of Occupational Therapists informs all Occupational Therapists Practicing in Uganda and those wishing to come to Uganda about important membership and practice procedure changes with effect from July 31st 2014.

1. Membership to UAOT

    Local Occupational Therapists              - UgX 50,000/=  Uganda Shillings

    International Occupational Therapists - $150   US Dollars

    Local Students                                          - UgX 30,000/=  Uganda Shillings

    Renewal of Membership shall be done every year.

    Upon due registration a member is issued for a certificate of membership which bears    

    a unique membership number.

    Important Note:  

    Every Occupational therapist who wishes to practice within Uganda is required to      

    register with the  Allied Health Professionals Council of the ministry of Health in  

    Accordance to theAllied Health Professionals Act Cap. 268.

    Renewal of practicing licence is done annually. Late registration / renewal carries a 

    penalty. more info.
